| Road America, Elkhart Lake, WI August 8, 2010 Jonathan Scarallo survived an epic drafting battle between four cars and then took the lead with two laps to go to take his first career F2000 victory in style for R-Sport at Road America. Keith McCrone finished third and took the Masters Class win. R-Sport started off the race weekend by placing both cars in the top three as Keith McCrone paced the first F2000 practice session of the weekend at Road America. McCrone, is coming off an eventful weekend at Lime Rock Park. In qualifying one, Keith put his R-Sport Van Diemen on the provisional pole and just a few feet later, suffered a huge crash in turn one. He recovered to finish fourth in race one and then came from the back of the pack to log a 13th place effort in race two, earning the CellMark Paper Hard Charger Award. the race video highlites are on our Photo Gallery page |
